Do You Offer Warranties or Guarantees on the Product and Installation? (Because Looking Good Should Also Mean Holding Up)

When you’re investing in updating your space — whether it’s one door or an entire commercial interior — you want more than a good-looking finish. You want confidence that it’s going to last, and that someone’s got your back if something goes wrong.

At VinylPop, we take that seriously. Here’s how warranties work with architectural film, what we cover (and don’t), and why we always aim for long-term trust — not short-term fixes.

Manufacturer Warranty

We use Bodaq architectural vinyl film, which comes with a 10-year limited manufacturer warranty on indoor applications.

What that means:

  • The film won’t peel, crack, discolor, or degrade under normal indoor conditions

  • It’s covered for product defects, manufacturing issues, or premature failure

  • It includes protections for things like delamination or adhesive failure — when it’s used as intended

Bodaq is a premium film with strict quality controls. If there’s ever a failure due to a product defect, we’ll work directly with the manufacturer to make it right.

VinylPop Workmanship Guarantee

In addition to the manufacturer’s backing, VinylPop offers a 1-year workmanship guarantee on all installations.

That covers:

  • Lifting or peeling due to improper install

  • Bubbles, edge issues, or misalignment caused during application

  • Touch-ups or adjustments needed after install due to installer error

We stand behind our work — and if it’s our mistake, we’ll fix it, no questions asked.

What’s Not Covered

We want to be upfront about what warranties don’t cover, too:

  • Damage from misuse (e.g. using knives, solvents, or heat guns on the surface)

  • Application on unapproved surfaces (we’ll tell you ahead of time if something’s a bad idea)

  • Excessive moisture or flooding (film is water-resistant, not waterproof in submerged conditions)

  • Outdoor use

  • Wear and tear from high-abuse environments (like impact dents or deep gouges)

We always provide care instructions and honest expectations based on your space and use case.

What If Something Goes Wrong Outside the Warranty?

Even if it’s not technically covered, we’re still on your team. If something unexpected happens — like a chair gouging a wrapped wall or a cleaning crew using something too strong — let us know. We’ll assess it honestly and offer the most affordable solution possible.

Sometimes we can replace a single panel without disturbing the rest. Other times we’ll help you file a manufacturer claim. Either way, you won’t be left on your own.

Final Word

At VinylPop, we’re not just here to make your space look better — we’re here to stand behind the work. That means giving you honest warranties, clear expectations, and full transparency from start to finish.

We know trust is earned — not promised. So we work hard to protect your investment, and we’ll never recommend a solution we wouldn’t use in our own space.
